Introducing one of our latest products to the cold smoked range…. Cold Smoked Scottish Salmon!

Proudly smoked in the Rural Capital of Food – Melton Mowbray.

It has been a much requested product and we have been trying to perfect it so now that we are in our brand new smokehouse with a lovely new cold smoking kiln we are finally ready to launch our first smoked salmon product.

We source the best fresh Scottish salmon sides we can find and use a simple salt and sugar cure to cure them before they go into our smoking kiln to smoke over oak and beech wood chipping giving  a fantastic smokey taste to the salmon. We like to be able to taste the smoke so we smoke a bit longer than some other smoke houses for our unique flavour.

We hand slice our sliced smoked salmon to a thicker slice than most are used to so you get a good amount of delicious salmon and a healthy dose of lovely smokiness, a bit more like a sashimi slice of smoked salmon.
