Aleppo Chilli Flakes

Description

Aleppo pepper is originally from Syria and named after the Aleppo town, this is now grown in Turkey.

Aleppo is only available in flake form, the drying process creates a wonderful flake that whole Aleppo pod just cannot match.

This is a sweet chilli by nature and has very little heat at all.

Mix the Aleppo flakes with some melted butter and drizzle over a poached egg and some strained yoghurt for a take on Aleppo eggs, Aleppo will raise the flavour of anything.

Aleppo is classed as a chilli but is more of a sweet pepper with hardly any heat

These can be used to create a marinade or straight into a dish.

Aleppo flakes are 99% chilli, with very few seeds in the mix.
